本課程透過講述、示範與實作，期望學生在選修完本課程可達到下列目標：
1. 能了解並說出輔助與另類療法在現今社會使用的相關種類方法。
2. 能理解並接納輔助與另類療法為緩和醫療 及健康促進之方法。
3. 能運用另類輔助療法協助自己在追求身心靈健康平衡並能協助他人。

Goal of this learning topic: Students can learn and understand the important positions of the complementary and alternative medicine in the modern era. Students can accept and understand that complementary and alternative medicine is a group of diverse medical and health care system， practices and products which can be used for health promotion. Students can use the gained skills and knowledge of this course to pursue a balance lifestyle and also to help others.
